Eve Store and Empyrean Age 1.1
Ok, not going to go into too much detail, considering every blog and their owners dog has already written about this. But here is the low down. Tonight the EVE Store was/is ( timezone depending ) getting a make-over. Apparently they are adding spaceship models of 1 battleship from each race, awsell as other things i am sure.
Now onto Empyrean Age 1.1 , Pretty much they are going into the nitty gritty stuff and changing a whole lot of things that you wont notice until you use it directly... Also throw in a few extra missions and some concord beef-ups and vola... Empyrean age 1.1 !
Links to the actual news.

CCP and the "Growing Divide"...
Well, i must say.... everyone needs to call down. All I've been reading are posts and blogs about people complaining that CCP is out of touch with its player base. I must dis-agree, and here is why.
A. Faction War- 40,000 people signed up, and played it... now if CCP was out of touch, i seriously doubt 40,000 people would have thought it was cool and tried it out.
B. Game Development - CCP unlike a lot of developers, actually have shown that they care what their players think... CSM anyone...
C. 250,000 subscribers - Eve has 250,000ish subscribers. IF CPP was so out of tune with the player community then it would have no where near 250k.
All this talk about CCP being out of touch... its all BS. Its just the ramblings of old players that reminisce of the good old days, back when they actually could actually do -->Insert Whine Here <--
So enough of this bickering, and whining. Seriously, if what they are changing or not changing for that matter, is really that big of a deal to you, then stop playing. But as long as you are playing, you are obviously enjoying yourself, cause if you weren't, you wouldn't be playing...
So stop worrying about the way it used to be, or the way it will be, and do what you came to EVE to do, PLAY THE GAME... let CCP deal with the semantics and the Nerfs, and what not. After all it is there job, and beleive it or not, its your job to PLAY, not DEVELOP.
That is all i have to say on the matter...

ENN's Eve Podpack
Eve Podcasts are some of the best out there, Here is the ENN " EVE PodPack ". Here i give you the lowdown on each podcast, and rate each one on Quality and Reliability. Hopefully in the future maybe even re-release episodes, if i can get permission to do so... So with out further a due, here is the current EVE PodPack :
Each Podcast is Rated on a scale of 1 to 5 Megathrons. 1 Being the Worst, 5 Being the Best.
1. Warp Drive Active:
Hosted by: Urban Mongral & Winterblink
Schedule: Weekly
Segments: News, Discussions, Interviews.
Website: www.warpdriveactive.com
Subscribe via Itunes: Here
Quality Rating:
Reliability Rating:
Review: Ok, first off, WDA is THE eve podcast. As of now there is no better eve podcast produced, and until recently it was fairly reliable. But in recent months a new podcast coming from WDA is more of a special thing, rather than a expected weekly update into eve. Urban and Blinky are funny as hell, and they get the news right and make it fun to listen to. I am a fan of WDA, my only complaint is in there recent lack of motivation, or whatever the reason may be... WDA seems to be slowly fading into memory.. hopefully they get back to buisness soon.
2. The Drone Bay:
Hosted By: Crovan, Crazy Kinux, Alsedrich
Schedule: Weekly
Segments: Discussions, Guides, Out of Game News, Ingame News, Ship Fittings.
Website: http://www.virginworlds.com/podcast.php?show=17&ep=15
Subscribe via Itunes: Here
Quality Rating:
Reliability Rating:
Review: TDB is one of my favorite podcasts period, not eve related, but podcasts in general. Crovan, CK, and Alsedrich are funny, and they put together a quality show, and recently its even been Live! But also as with WDA, recently its been kinda quiet from the guys over there. Overall, i think its alot of good planning, and awesome editing skills that go into this show... Cant wait for the next episode!
3. Titan Weekly:
Hosted by: Malnor Zerchan
Schedule: Weekly
Segments: Faction War News, Alliance News, Biggest Winners/Loosers, Rants, Interviews.
Website: www.titanweekly.com
Subscribe Via Itunes: Here
Quality Rating:
Reliability Rating:
Review: Well, TW started out kinda rough... and that's putting it lightly... But the quality of the show has increased ten fold with each episode. Malnor Gets into news right form the start, and his rants are great to listen too. Not only has this show increased in quality over the weeks, but it has also been very reliable. Malnor has posted a new episode each week without fail. Keep up the great work! I cant wait to get updated this week with episode #9.
4. Fly Reckless:
Hosted by: Silicon Buddha
Schedule: Weekly
Segments: Eve tribune Articles, Dev Blogs, Brief Rants.
Website: www.flyreckless.com
Subscribe via Itunes: N/A
Quality Rating:
Reliability Rating:
Review: I have only listened to a few of FR, but what i have heard was GREAT! Silicon is a fluent speaker, and has great audio quality. A great show All around! It was an interesting choice to do a whole show on Eve Tribune and Dev Blogs, but it works out, i enjoy it alot. Keep up the good work Silicon, and Remember everyone " Fly Reckless, because flying safe is just no damn fun!".

EVE Winter Expansion Codename : MIDAS
MMORPG.com recently sat down with EVE ONLINE Associate Producer Arend Stuhrmann and they talked about the Empyrean Age Expansion, Empyrean Age 1.1 and Empyrean Age 1.2. But that was all what you could have expected. BUT at about 4:19 into the video interview Arend drops the bomb, the EVE ONLINE Winter Expansion , Codenamed: MIDAS is quote "..All about Industry.."! This is something i personally have been waiting for, finally its industry's turn to "get the goodies" ( quote from Titan weekly EP#7 ). They didn't go into much detail on the winter expansion, and there was no mention of ambulation, so we can cross our fingers and hope that ambulation will be tossed in with MIDAS... Only the Gods over CCP know, and only time will tell.

Ogame - A fun Web Based Game
Ok, in my downtime with EVE, I've been playing this AWESOME space web based MMO, called OGame. It been around for quite some time, and has a very nice following. Those of you who are fixated on graphics, turn away now, because there are no graphics. Just picture representation of the things you are building and such... I know it sounds pretty lame... But its actually quite fun!
When you start the game, you register an account in 1 of 35 universes. Then you are given a planet, which you can name, this planet is your home world. Right from the start you must build something, i recommend building power plants and Mining operations first.
Each building takes so many minutes to complete ( Kinda like eve skill training ). Then after you build enough resourse and get a small fleet together, you can go settle other planets, create alliances with other players, and of course RULE THE UNIVERSE! lol
Head on over and check it out. www.ogame.org
PS- Im in Universe 15
Cities of Refuge - New EVE Chronicle
CCP has just released another Chronicle Titled, Cities of Refuge. It details the hard life on Caldari Prime since the Caldari Occupation began.
I must say i have been impressed with the recent batch of EVE Chronicles, i was thinking they would die off after a while, and well surprisingly CCP has kept it up! Its nice to get these small windows into life in the EVE universe, since we cant actually see any of it... Atleast not yet....
<--- Insert Ambulation Here--->
Anyways, hopefully the guys over at CCP manage to keep it up. Theses very very shot storys are all we have... until the player made Ambulation videos start being made... LOL
Star Trek: Online Update...
Well, Last time i had heard anything about STO, it was dead in the water... and lets face it has there EVER been a Decent Star Trek Game? I sure can't think think of any, LOL.
Anyways, Apparently the rights to STO were bought by Cryptic Studios, the developers of Champions Online. Not much has been heard from cryptic on the STO front, until today, when MMORPG.com's Keith Cross had the opportunity to sit down with Cryptic CCO Jack Emmert. In the Video Jack talks about Player made Races, Customizable Exterior and Interiors of ships, and a lot of other game features.
From an EVE Standpoint im already jealous, customizable ships... NOT FAIR! lol Anyways, looks like STO isnt as dead as i was lead to believe. Make sure to check out the video. Also, here is the most recent Trailer from STO.
And here is the link to the STO website. I might actually try this Star Trek Game out... Looks to have some promise, but they always do... so i guess only time will tell.
